Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is more like a 2-star accommodation with some noise issues, but my lost bags were professionally handled by a new staff member and manager over the phone. The sofa in the room was uncomfortably narrow, less than 40 cm wide.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The sauna and big bathtub in the room were amazing, but the room had a strange smell and I couldn't adjust the heat properly, leading to extra charges for keeping the window open. The table in the room was dirty with stains from drinks, which was not pleasant.
The hotel is conveniently situated in the heart of the old town amidst shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars, offering a vibrant atmosphere. While the rooms were a bit noisy as they faced the street and had an outdated feel, they were maintained clean, reflecting a modest two-star quality. My extensive hotel testing experience suggests this hotel falls into that category.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms looked much better in the pictures than in reality, though they were a nice size and tidy. I felt overcharged compared to others staying in the same hotel. Despite this, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the free WiFi was a plus. The service was friendly, and the staff tried to help with everything we needed, especially during breakfast. The location was the only decent thing, with shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars nearby. The overall experience was dampened by the dark ambiance and noise from the downtown area.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room we were initially assigned was very dated, and I had some issues with lights not working and broken balcony glass. However, the new staff member and manager handled these problems professionally. The breakfast was a bit disappointing with tinned fruit and processed cheese, but there were some cooked options available. The soundproofing was not great, though.
